Prefer slick and smooth dough? Add more oil.

Like fluffy, crumbly dough? Add more flour.

The combinations are endless, so have fun finding what you like!

You can use the crockpot or instant pot. If using the crockpot, just set to low and cook for an hour. Maybe stir it if you remember.

*PIP means pot-in-pot style.

3 cups flour

3 1/4 cups water (PLUS the 1/2 cup in the bottom of the instant pot)

1/2 cup vinegar

1 1/2 cups salt

3 tablespoons oil

And some essential oil or extract if you want

Directions:

Mix it all up. Add oil and water last. Add more water if you can’t stir it. Put it in the instant pot PIP style. Set it for 5 minutes. Forget about it. I forgot it for about 5 hours, sooner is fine. Later is fine. Whatever is fine. Put in an air tight container over night if you remember before bed. Otherwise you can forget it in the sealed instant pot until tomorrow. Whatever. It’s fine. Knead the color in the next day or whenever you feel like it.

If it’s too runny, add cornstarch.
